Our Story

Impact Church (formerly Faith Christian Center) was founded on August 18, 1996 by Bishop Keith A. Butler of Word of Faith International Christian Center (WOFICC). Impact Church began as a small church at 7500 Merrill Road with a small contingent of 12 adults who voluntarily moved from Detroit, MI to Jacksonville, FL to assist George and April with spreading the Good News of Jesus across cities in Florida, which we called "Impact 7." That vision has since been expanded to include eleven other churches which we call our "Impact 7 & Beyond" (I7B) churches. More churches are still to come in other states as God continues to reveal His plan.

Outgrowing the initial facility, the church soon added multiple services; however, the growth eventually lead to the decision to hold services at Landmark Middle School. We later purchased and renovated a former grocery store while constructing our current 70,000 square foot facility. In July 2016, Impact Church purchased the former Belk building in Regency Mall, which is now it's current location.

Impact Church is a member of the Association of Related Churches (ARC), and is a non-denominational church with great emphasis on solid biblical teaching and practical everyday application. Our purpose is to help men, women and children come to Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose and Make a Difference. We offer Small Groups for many interests, special activities and outings for the young and the young at heart.

Impact Church has been blessed to host such dynamic and anointed ministry notables such as Marilyn Hickey, Dr. Jesse Duplantis, Dr. Don Colbert, Pastor Bill Winston, Kari Jobe, and many others.

IC-Jax offers dynamic Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services. These services are held in our current location at 9501 Arlington Expressway
